Welcome to the principal's page at Oakview Elementary School. We are a K-5 grade school and have approximately 310 students. Oakview is located at 3111 Blackburn Avenue, in the heart of South Ashland. Our phone number is 606.327.2733 and all faculty can be reached at this number. Our fax number is 606.327.2756. The school day begins at 7:55 A. M. and ends at 2:55 P. M. Being at school every day and on time is extremely important. For a child to learn best, he/she needs to be in school every minute of every day. If there is a need for your child to be absent you must send a note or doctor's excuse. Each child is granted five parent notes per year. All other absences or tardies must have a doctor's note for it to be excused. We appreciate your scheduling of all appointments after school hours or during scheduled breaks.
